Who We Are

Automated Insights LLC was founded by Nic Vogler, a software engineer based in St. Petersburg, Florida. With over a decade of experience building software across full-stack web development, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure, Nic started Automated Insights to build the kind of practical, no-nonsense tools he wished existed when researching everything from mortgage affordability to Florida real estate risks.

Automated Insights is a small, independent company — not a faceless content farm. Every tool, guide, and blog post on this site is built and maintained by a real person who uses these tools themselves. We are based in Florida and focused on creating genuinely useful tools that respect your time and privacy.

What We Do

We develop and maintain a growing collection of free web-based tools, including calculators, generators, converters, and data visualization applications. Our tools require no signup, no downloads, and no personal information to use.

Our flagship product is ScopeOut, a Florida real estate intelligence platform that puts flood zones, hurricane evacuation routes, crime heatmaps, elevation data, and other critical information on a single interactive map. ScopeOut helps homebuyers, real estate agents, and researchers understand the full risk and amenity profile of any Florida property.

Our Approach

• Free and accessible. Our tools are free to use for everyone. We believe access to useful information should not be gated behind subscriptions or paywalls.
